2008 welcomes back the Baton Rouge Blues Festival on Saturday, April 26 from 10am to 10pm downtown in Repentance Park (loacated at the fountain area between the River Center and Old State Capitol.) Baton Rouge Mayor, Kip Holden, assigned the rebirth of this *FREE* festival to the Baton Rouge Blues Foundation and the Baton Rouge Blues Society. Performing will be The Baton Rouge High School Bulldog Blues Band, Phil Guy, Larry Garner, Marcia Ball, Tab Benoit, Luther Kent & Trickbag, Lazy Lester with Rudy Richard & James Johnson and Kenny Neal.

Please note that NO umbrellas, ice chests, pop-up tents or dogs will be allowed on festival grounds. You are welcome to bring a lawn chair.
